Dupe Alert! Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter (Liquid) Non-Toxic Alternative

With Becca Cosmetic's recent acquisition by Estee Lauder, you may be looking for alternatives to their vegan options (while Becca claims to maintain it's cruelty-free status, it's parent company is a well-known animal tester). One of their most popular products is their liquid Shimmering Skin Perfecter - essentially a liquid highlight. Not only is it possibly not cruelty-free, but it is full of toxic chemicals. I received this Kani Botanics Galaxy Milk Illuminating Beauty Oil in a Petit Vour box & I think it's a great replacement!

Unlike the Becca versions, this highlight oil comes in one, universally-flattering, vanilla cream shade. The applicator is in a dropper form. It's also full of skin-nourishing, natural ingredients & is completely non-toxic!

When blended out, it provides a golden glow. The particles are a bit larger than what I'm used to, but still beautiful. I wouldn't necessarily reach for this for work or any other subdued occasion, but in other situations it would work nicely. It's a very versatile product - dab it directly onto the spots you want to highlight or mix a drop or more directly into moisturizer, primer, or foundation. It's also much easier to control the amount because of the dropper. I'll be sure to do a video featuring this product soon!
