Beauty Review: Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner

As part of my minimal hair routine, I use coconut oil in my hair every other day. I skip days simply because I don't want my hair to become overly greasy. However, on the days I don't apply the oil, I still want a little sum'-sum' to add a touch of hydration in my hair. So, when I spotted this product at Target for only $2.99 (travel-sized), I knew I had to give it a shot, especially because I had heard so much about the brand, but never ventured to try their products. Now that they are super accessible & affordable, I have no excuse & of course, they are cruelty-free & vegan-friendly!

I've used this product lightly in my hair for several weeks & one of the first things I fell in love with was the scent OH MY GAWD. It smells super delish! It's a deep vanilla scent which is seductive & oh so dreamy.

The mist is really soft & generous & what I notice is that even for my long, thick hair, just a few spritzes concentrated at my ends is all I really need, with a light mist all over.

I notice that my hair becomes instantly softer & smells amazing. I think it's a great supplement to the coconut oil. It isn't overly hydrating, yet it adds enough moisture to keep even my perpetually-dry hair satisfied. I am definitely going to get a full-size especially with my big chop coming soon!
