Unboxing: Vegan Cuts Snack Box - February 2015

I'm super excited to do my first subscription box unboxing on this blog! I recently signed up for a Vegan Cuts Snack Box subscription & my first box was for February!

In case you haven't heard of Vegan Cuts, it's an online marketplace with discounted one-of-a-kind vegan items! Think of it like a cruelty-free Groupon! They have an awesome subscription service with a snack box & beauty box option (beauty box will be featured soon!) for only $19.95! This is an absolute steal considering the box is filled with goodies that are worth way more!

John & I agreed to split each box depending on what we liked & I included a short review of my picks. I believe everyone's boxes were slightly different based on what was in stock, but I am super happy about this one!

John's Picks

A full size bag of Cobra Corn - Himalayan Mountain Salt*

A sample sachet of Organic Nutz 2Go

A sample packet of Bodylogix Natural Dark Chocolate Protein Powder*

A sample sachet of Vibrant Health Field Of Greens Organic Raw Green Foods.

A full size Beanfield's Bean & Rice Nacho-Flavored chips*
These look like vegan Nacho Doritos!

My Picks

Sometimes I think I've been living under a rock because I've never tried hemp seeds!
I'm so glad these were included - there are 3 tablespoons worth in this sample packet, enough to add into smoothies & sprinkle onto salads!

I love me some potato chips & when this full-size bag of Wai Lana Cassava Pops* were included, I was really excited because I'm a big fan of Pop Chips! Cassava is a root veggie similar to potatoes & these basically tasted just like popped potato chips! These were seriously really good!

I love gummy candy, which is often not vegan due to the nasty-ass gelatin, so I was stoked to get some organic gummies by Tasty Brand. These were really nice! The only thing I wasn't too happy about was how sticky they were on the outside.

This packet of Emmy's Chocolate Chip Macaroons* was probably my favorite out of the whole bunch! I am a sucka for raw coconut macaroons - I love Coco-Roons & Hail Merry's! These had way more of a melt-in-your mouth quality to them, not as coconutty as the others I've tried.

Lately, I've been super into apple chips, so I was really excited to try a new brand! These were very good, but I was sad to see corn syrup as an ingredient. Womp womp.

If you're interested in trying a Snack Box, check out Vegan Cuts & give it a try!

Bonus: Vegan Cuts Boxes make great cat toys!

It's certified Lily-approved!
