Cruelty-Free & Vegan Haul! Target, iHerb, & Vitacost

Since I used up all of my nasty products, it was time to restock all of my beauty & household essentials with the cruelty-free & vegan versions! Here are all the items I bought over the past week!

I'm going curly again! I'm going back to the CGM, however, I'm keeping it more low-key, no-fuss, & natural. I didn't want to hoard too many products so I grabbed the AS I AM Cleansing Pudding ($10.99) & the Curls Goddess Curls Botanical Gelee ($9.99). The Cleansing Pudding intrigued me because I have used the Coconut Co-Wash by the same brand which works great, but the packaging was not shower-friendly, so I thought this might be easier to use. I'm trying to steer away from shampoos (yes, even sulfate-free ones) because my hair craves moisture all the time! I've used the hair gel by Curls before; it was lightweight & didn't make my hair feel heavy so I went back to it.

As part of my new hair routine (yes, I will have a video on it!) I went for the Real Repair Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Minute Mask by Alba Botanica ($7.19). As part of the "feed-my-hair-moisture" movement I'm doing for my hair, I'm using deep conditioners as a regular conditioner.

I have been fascinated by Alaffia's "Everyday" line that I'm finding everywhere; I think it really appeals to the minimalists & the budget-conscious (I'll speak more on it later). I went for their Lavender Moisturizing Body Wash ($11.19). My skin dries out quite badly this time of year, so everything has to have some element of moisture in it. Plus, lavender is one of my favorite scents! It's so soothing & relaxing.

Finally from iHerb, several products from EcoTools! First is a shower cap with a carrying case ($6.99). My hair always gets wet in the shower when I don't want it to, but I didn't like the idea of putting chemically plastic on my head, so I picked up this one. Next is the Deep Cleansing Pure Complexion Facial Sponge ($5.99). This is basically the Konjac sponge that is all the rage in the natural beauty world & of course, I really wanted to try it! I also grabbed the EcoPouf Exfoliating Sponge ($2.49). I'm currently using one by Earth Therapeutics which I've had for a disgustingly long time so I was def overdue for a new one! Lastly, I grabbed this set that has a wooden comb & a headband (again, mine was getting pretty gross; $5.99).

Vitacost gave me some trouble (it's not the first time) because there were glitches in my cart so I would get multiples of some items. Oh well.

First of all, I didn't order this product. I was not charged for it. I'm very confused. Was it a gift with purchase? A mistake? There's nothing on my receipt. I'm not complaining; I was out of flax anyway!

The first of my multiples - Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Air Freshener in Geranium ($3.99 each). I'm keeping one in the bathroom & one in the living room since candles are pretty much off limits there because of our kitty.

I only needed one of these Cococare 100% Cocoa Butter ($1.29 each), but somehow ended up with 4. Oh well, stocking stuffers! These literally smell like yummy chocolate.

The Tom's Of Maine Wicked Fresh Mouthwash ($5.29) is my favorite out of all the ones I've tried. This flavor is Cool Mountain Mint.

I went for this Aubrey Revitalizing Therapy Gel Mask ($10.99) because I really needed something to put a surge of moisture back into my skin. This claims to hydrate & firm & has roses in it, so I'm down!

The Clear Conscience Multi-Purpose Solution ($10.59) is the only vegan & cruelty-free contact lens solution on the market that I know of & it's what I've been using.

I prefer waxing my eyebrows at home (yet everyone asks me where I get them done!), but I was using the beeswax-based wax by Gigi that I picked up from Sally's. I found this & remember seeing this as a certified-vegan hair remover somewhere online, I can't remember. The Moom Organic Hair Remover ($3.78) is sugar- & lemon-based. The cloth strips are washable & I grabbed the small size to try & because I don't really need a big tub for my eyebrows.

I was shaving with my bar soap & my skin dried out so much so I decided to try the Avalon Organics Lavender Moisturizing Cream Shave (I prefer creams; $5.29). I also needed some sunscreen & wanted to go the mineral route so I grabbed the Alba Botanica Very Emmolient Fragrance-Free Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 30 ($7.35).

I needed a face scrub so I went for the Himalayan Herbals Organique Exfoliating Face Scrub ($6.99). I've used products from this brand before & I love how they take an Ayurvedic approach to skincare. Next, I picked up the Desert Essence Soft Curls Coconut Hair Cream ($6.29) as a leave-in conditioner. I had never tried vegan lip balm before so I picked up 2 (yes, on purpose; one for home, one for my bag) of the Merry Hempsters Vanilla Vegan Hemp Lip Balm ($1.99 each).

Finally, I grabbed the entire line of Everyday Coconut skincare products (Purifying Cleanser, Coconut Water Toner, Daily Face Lotion SPF 15, & Night Replenishing Face Cream; $6.29 each). I will have a review, either video or post, still undecided!

If you would like a review on any of the products here, please let me know via comment or e-mail!
